Almaden is an upscale neighborhood in southeast San Jose, CA. It gets its name from the local New Almaden Quicksilver Mines, which is now a county park. As part of Silicon Valley, technology is a big part of the local industry. Enjoy one of the several local area parks and recreation areas such as Almaden Meadows Park or Los Alamitos/Calero Creek Trail and a yearly highlight is the Almaden Valley Art and Wine Festival, which takes place every September.
